PRICES

All of my wedding cakes are bespoke and priced individually depending on size, design and finish. To ensure I am able to dedicate my full attention to my work, I limit the number of cakes I take on each week. Therefore I implement a minimum spend of £650 for Friday - Sunday weddings and £450 for Monday - Thursday weddings.

Once that minimum is met, the final price will vary based on the number of portions and the level of detail involved.

Below you’ll find some example of some of the different sizes I offer and what you would expect to pay for these designs to give you a helpful starting point when budgeting.

PORTIONS

All my cake sizes are based on 1"x2" portions, which is the perfect serving!

If you don't wish to cater for all your guests, a good rule of thumb is to go for 75% of your total guest numbers, this usually allows for those who skip dessert, share a slice, or head straight for the dance floor.

If you’re planning to serve your cake as the dessert after your wedding breakfast, I’d recommend opting for dessert portions instead. These are larger slices and feel much more substantial when they’re replacing a traditional pudding. In that case, you’ll want to cater to your full daytime guest numbers (plus a little extra) so everyone receives a proper serving. This way, whether it’s an evening treat or the star of the dessert course, you’ll have the right amount, without waste or worry.

You’ll find some examples of different cake sizes and portions in the gallery below to help you visualise what might work best for your numbers.

STYLING
AND SET UP

The styling and set up of your cake is just as important as the cake itself. Not only should it be presented somewhere for all to see (nobody puts cake in the corner!), but it should also be presented in a way that ties in perfectly with the rest of your décor and show cases it for the piece of art that it is. And it doesn't have to be complicated or costly, a stylish table along with a cake stand and a couple of finishing touches such as candles can really set your cake apart from the rest.

I have a range of different cake stands, arches, plinths and props to hire or i can work alongside your venue stylist to help come up with an idea for the display of your cake.

Styling is an extra service from my standard set up so please include this in your enquiry if it is something you would like to discuss.
