Coverage

Please note that the coverage of my ready-made ganache may vary from person to person, depending on individual usage habits and application techniques. I have listed below the possible amount of cakes that this 2kg tub will cover when used for a final coat ONLY. 
 

2000g of ganache for a final coat, will roughly cover either:

• 3-4 x 6" cakes OR
• 2-3 x 8" cakes OR
• 2 x 7"/5" two tier cakes (plus spare) OR
• 1 x 8"/6"/4" three tier (plus spare)
   

(My cakes are between 7" and 8" tall)

 

Storage/Shelf Life

We will ship your ganache with cool gel packs to ensure it stays chilled during transit and itwill be sent via Next Day Delivery. You won't find any unwanted preservatives in our signature ganache therefore we reccommend the following storage instructions:

On delivery place your ganache in the fridge unless you plan to use it immediately. Let it come to room temp before melting down to use.
 

The ganache will last up to:

2-3 days at room temperature

2 weeks refridgerated

3 months frozen
 

Please use the above info as guidance - it may last for longer, or less. Like all handmade products you can check if the ganache is still ok by checking if it looks ok, smells ok and tastes ok. To reduce the risk of it spoiling sooner, do not contaminate with any other food products, such as jam or crumbs from your cake.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
 

1. Business Information

2. Ordering

• All products are made to order and crafted fresh for each customer.
• Orders are confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion (e.g. incomplete address, stock issues).
   

3. Product Description & Usage

• Our ready-made ganache is intended for use by professional and hobby bakers.
• Ingredients and allergen information are listed clearly on product packaging and product pages.
• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the product is suitable for their needs, dietary requirements, and intended usage.
• Product must be stored in accordance with provided instructions upon receipt (typically refrigerated).
• Shelf life is limited, as ganache is perishable. Use within the time stated on the label.
   

4. Subscription Service

• We offer a rolling weekly subscription service.
• Orders will be shipped on the same day every week based on the date you choose at checkout.
• Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via your account dashboard or by emailing us.
• Orders already processed or shipped before cancellation are still chargeable.
• Subscription customers may receive priority dispatch and discounted pricing.
   

5. Shipping & Delivery

• Orders are dispatched via DPD every Monday for Tuesday delivery, and every Wednesday for Thursday delivery unless otherwise stated.
• Shipping charges apply and are calculated at checkout.
• A tracking number will be provided by DPD once your order is on its way.
• We are not responsible for delays once the parcel has been handed to the courier.
• It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete delivery address.
   

6. Returns, Refunds & Damages

• Due to the perishable and made-to-order nature of our product, we do not accept returns under any circumstances.
• If your order arrives damaged, you must:

- Take clear photos of the packaging and product immediately upon receipt.

- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at [Insert email address].

- Retain the damaged product and packaging for return and inspection.

• Refunds or replacements may be offered at our discretion, and only after the return is received and assessed.
• We do not offer refunds for delivery delays caused by the courier.
   

7. Cancellations & Changes

• You may cancel your order up to 48 hours before dispatch.
• After this cut-off, the order is already in production and cannot be cancelled or refunded.

 

8. Liability & Disclaimers

• We take all reasonable care to ensure your ganache is produced and shipped to the highest standard.
• However, we are not liable for:
  • Incorrect use or storage of the product
  • Customer reactions or allergies where ingredients were clearly disclosed
  • Damages or spoilage due to missed deliveries or late collection
• By purchasing, you accept that taste, colour, texture and consistency may vary slightly between batches due to handmade processes.
• We do not guarantee suitability for specific dietary needs unless explicitly stated.
   

9. Payments

• We accept card payments only through our secure payment provider.
• Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.
• All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT (where applicable).
   

10. Changes to Terms:

• We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time.
• Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
• It is your responsibility to review the Terms prior to each purchase.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Returns

- We do not accept returns due to the perishable and made-to-order nature of our ganache products. Once dispatched, your order is non-refundable and cannot be returned.
 

Damaged Orders

- If your product arrives damaged, we will assess for a replacement or partial refund only if:
     - You contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
     - You provide clear photos of the product and packaging.
     - You retain the product and packaging so it can be returned to us if requested.

- We are not responsible for damage caused by:
   - Late or missed delivery
   - Incorrect storage after delivery
   - Mishandling after receipt
 

Refunds

- If your return is approved after inspection, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Refunds may take 3–5 business days to process once confirmed.

- We do not refund:
   - Orders that have been delivered and accepted without a damage claim
   - Issues reported beyond the 24-hour window

Orders placed before 2pm Monday - Thursday will be shipped the next day. 

Orders placed after 2pm Thursday will be shipped Monday.
